We all strive for it -- success. We all want it -- power. We all set them -- goals. And we all want to achieve them -- dreams.
For many, competition flows within the bloodstream. For others, competion is frightening. Can't we all just get along?
I am convinced that competition lies within. If you want something bad enough, you will work for it and reach for your dreams. Never give up, even if you hit discouraging bumps along your journey. I am living proof.
Back in high school I soooo wanted to be a member of the National Honors Society. Unfortunately, I didn't make the cut and I was devistated. Now, almost six years later, I have been accepted into the CVD Honors Society at Penn State. It's funny because I was yet devistated again when I didn't hear anything back regarding acceptance and here, my mail was late. The same people with whom I cried six years ago, were the sames ones I celebrated with today.
It's a great feeling to believe in yourself and recognize your self worth. Though at first I didn't, this whole experience just reminded me that no matter any obstae, always believe in yourself.
Keep your friends close, your enimies closer, and God closest.
Prove nothing to no one but you.
Chase your dreams and don't mind those who are getting in the way.
